By registering as a fundraiser on this website, you will be consenting to us processing your personal information (including sensitive personal data where you have volunteered it) for the purpose of passing information to the charity you have chosen to benefit from the donations which you are collecting ('nominated charity'). We will use and process your personal data to enable your nominated charity to receive information about you. We will not pass on any personal data to any other third party other than your nominated charity.
3.Information we collect from you when you make a donation using this website.
If you make a donation or pledge using this website, we collect your full name, your declaration of tax status, your credit or debit card details (including card information) and your billing address. We will only use your card details for processing your donation via our payment partner. If you have made a gift aid declaration, we will ensure that this is passed to the HM Revenue and Customs for the purpose of reclaiming tax on behalf of the recipient charity. Your gift aid declaration includes your name and home address, which may be different from your billing address, along with the confirmation that you are paying sufficient amount of tax for the current tax year. Every time you make a donation, you will be given the option to receive further information from the charity. We will not pass on your name or address to any charity other than the one (s) to whom you donate unless you expressly give us your consent to do so. On making a donation using this website you are giving us your consent to collect and process your personal data for the purpose of processing your donation and to passing your personal information and details of your donation to the nominated charity.
4.How the charities use your personal information.
Where you are a registered user or where you have given your consent as a visitor or a person making a donation on the website to pass your personal information to a particular charity, we are not responsible for any use or processing of your personal information by such charity. If you wish to stop receiving any communications from a particular charity, please contact them directly.
